Charles Dan has been the Special Representative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on Youth and Social Inclusion since May 1st, 2013. He has previously served as Assistant Director-General and Regional Director for Africa of the ILO (2008-2013) and Senior Adviser to the ILO Director-General (1999-2008). He was also Director of the ILO Preparatory Team for the 2004 Ouagadougou Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union on Employment and Poverty Alleviation.
